Megan Courtis is a British-born director and photographer who blends bold aesthetics with documentary realism. Colour, composition, and the tactile qualities of analogue imagery are at the heart of her work.

Guided by an intuitive sensitivity to people and atmosphere, she creates rich, human-centered narratives and striking visuals, drawing on her background in Fine Art, Theatre, and Visual Arts to bring a multi-disciplinary approach that balances storytelling, performance, and visual craft.

Experience

From 2016 to 2019, she directed documentary-style branded content at Freunde von Freunden, collaborating with artists and designers on projects for international clients like BMW and Siemens.

From 2020 to 2025, she served as the Director of Video & Art at COLORSxSTUDIOS, leading music, commercial, and documentary productions worldwide. She defined and shaped the platform's distinctive visual identity through her bold creative vision, helping establish COLORS as a platform for emotionally rich music storytelling.

She has collaborated with over three hundred artists, including Billie Eilish, Central Cee, FEID and Tyler, as well as brands like Dior, Levi's, New Balance, Valentino and Sisley.


Her work has appeared in NOWNESS, i.D Magazine, and VOGUE Italia, as well as exhibitions, books, and billboards around Europe and New York City.
